Trainings Needs Assessment Calendar Council Contact Us	ACTIVITIES AS OF NOVEMBER 12, 2007 Held two RTCV meetings, in Fort Lauderdale and at the ACE Conference in Orlando. Conducted a needs assessment survey for the four counties (Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe) in Region V, sending out in excess of 250 surveys and receiving back 86. Summarized the needs assessment responses by region and county. Established a preliminary training calendar for Region V for the 2007-2008 educational year. Completed the first set of deliverables to Florida Department of Education on September 30, 2007. Started meeting with administrators of each school district to determine specific training events for each. Conducted nine trainings in TABE (for Adult Basic Literacy and GED), CASAS (for ESOL), TOPSpro (CASAS scoring software) and GED Math in Boynton Beach, Davie, Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Wellington with a total of 214 participants. Began construction of the RTCV website and design of a new logo.
